Aquatic and Sports Centre
Singleton’s aquatic and sports centre is a great place for the community, giving access to the pool and gym for the surrounding area. With great learn to swim classes or just to cool off after a hot summer’s day the aquatic center is perfectly situated 3 minutes from the CBD.

LERNING
Library
Singleton Council completed construction of the new state of the art library in 2004; it boasts 1,785m² of floor space, almost three times larger than the old library. It is a landmark building, situated in front of the Council administration building, which makes it both accessible and highly visible. This library gives pride to both the community and Council ensuring it will be used effectively for generations to come.

Museum
The Singleton Historical Museum is housed in a c1841 building within the picturesque Burdekin Park. The building was originally built as a gaol complete with the keeper’s residence and cells attached. Steeped in history, this Georgian-style building with Mid-Victorian portico was originally built as a lock-up. The Singleton Historical Society was granted the use of the former Municipal Council building in 1963 and is now home to an extensive Historical Museum. From an original horse drawn ambulance cart to furniture, farm machinery and kitchenware, the museum has something for everyone.

Hunter Valley Gardens
The Hunter Valley Gardens are located in the heart of the Hunter Vineyards, just outside Pokolbin and only 30 minutes from Bridgman Ridge. Spread over 25 hectares of spectacular international gardens, this tourist attraction will amaze you with sensational sights, colours and fragrances. Following the 8 kilometers of walking paths visitors will be able to experience each of the magnificent feature gardens. The gardens are open from 10am daily (Closed Christmas Day)
